Best classic climbs in Galayos
Galayos, one of the best granite climbing areas of Spain, is a group of about 40 spires perched above the deep gorges of the Sierra de Gredos range, at almost 2,000 m.
This majestic labyrinth of rock offers some of the finest rock climbing you can get. Here you can find 400+ easy to hard trad routes, 1 to 8 pitches long (up to 300 m), where cracks and dihedrals predominate.
Isolation, aerial climbs and the stark beauty of the alpine playground combine in the most unique spires concentration in Europe to create a magical place. This is an alpine rock climbing paradise, plenty of high quality multi-pitch routes and gorgeous cracks and dihedrals.
