Best classic climbs in La Cabrera, Madrid

La Cabrera and Pico de la Miel host a huge number of high quality single and multi-pitch routes. If you are into trad climbing and want to discover some of the best cracks Madrid has to offer, La Cabrera it’s the place for you.

The smooth granite, fine-grained and crowded with perfect parallel cracks, makes any climb here a very enjoyable experience.

Some of the best climbs in Madrid are waiting for you, from the ultra-classic multi-pitch routes Espolón de Manolín, Esteban Altieri or La Moraleda to some of the most epic cracks in central Spain, such as Boulder Paranoia or Metamorfosis, the first 7a in the country.

While the mild climate makes year round climbing posible, the short approach to the crags makes La Cabrera an ideal destination for a half-day trip close to the city.
