Best classic climbs in Riglos

Los Mallos de Riglos are spectacular geological formations which have become a very well known climbing destination. Steep pumpy routes on large jugs predominate on some of the best multi-pitch rock climbing in Spain.

Carved by erosion in an impossible balance, the 300-meter vertical conglomerate walls perch above the tiny houses of Riglos, a small village of Huesca. Welcome to the kingdom of bolos and panzas, jugs and bulges that form a very particular and deservedly world-famous type of climbing.

Sitting on top of La Visera’s El Trono or El Puro are a must, from where one feels deep respect and admiration for those pioneers from the 50s and 60s, who conquered these towers with nothing but courage and imagination, relying upon gear that now is inimaginable.
