We have several and very different style climbing crags around Madrid. Our team of guides are on hand to give you expert advice and support, and will adapt to your requirements with just one goal in mind: to let you enjoy and learn! What else can you ask for a climbing day?

We offer sport climbing trips from Madrid to internationally renowned crags like Cuenca and Pedriza. If you prefer to stay under the radar we have the powerful overhangs of Vellón, the juggy routes of Patones, San Martín for cold days and Navacerrada for the summertime.

We will show you the best climbing areas for every time of the year, regardless level and climbing style.

ACTIVITY DETAILS

  • 1 full day, from around 9 am to 4/5 pm.
  • 2-day or weekend trips to Cuenca or other areas are available at request.
  • La Pedriza: all kinds of climbing styles in a privileged environment, 3,000+ routes, predominantly crimpy walls and thin slab climbing.
  • Patones: technical and powerful single pitch 800+ routes in a limestone crag with a long climbing history. Plenty of pockets give a very enjoyable climbing (on your grade).
  • El Vellón: short and powerful limestone 150+ routes, predominantly overhangs.
  • San Martín de Valdeiglesias: 250+ granite climbs with all kind of difficulties and styles, single pitch routes. Gentle weather, good for the winter.
  • Puerto de Navacerrada: located at almost 2,000 m, makes it perfect for the summer. All kinds of orientations and difficulties in a beautiful high mountain environment within the Sierra de Guadarrama National Park.
  • Cuenca: just two hours from Madrid we can enjoy the best limestone crag of central Spain, internationally known. 1,200+ routes, all kinds of styles and grades. Recommended for a 2-day or weekend trip.
  • Good physical condition.
  • Previous climbing experience, no matter grade.
  • Low to high, depending on the chosen routes.
  • Technical clothing for the time of year (warm clothes, windbreaker, waterproofs, etc.). It is always good to have a light layer (or multiple layers), even in the summer.
  • Comfortable clothing (loose and not bulky).
  • Backpack (approx. 20-25 litres).
  • Approach or hiking shoes.
  • Water bottle (at least 1 litre).
  • Snacks (bars, packed meals, some fruit).
  • Sun protection (sunglasses, sunscreen, lip balm, cap or hat).
  • Headtorch and batteries.
  • Camera or phone.
