PYRENEES: Peña Telera Best Winter Climbs

Peña Telera (2762 meters) is perhaps the best-known, but not the highest peak, of the great Sierra de la Partacúa, a magnificent rocky wall of almost 10 km long that, added to its twin, Sierra Tendeñera, are the walls that separate the Tena Valley from the Biescas Lands.

It is one of those places with a very marked Alpine character, of sublime, amazing beauty, in which the placid landscape of the cattle pastures and the Ibón de Piedrafita give rise, with great abruptness, to the gloomy verticality of the rocky cliffs and the 1000-meter-high snow and ice couloirs that leads to the different summits of Partacúa.

Peña Telera North Face houses magnificent winter climbs of all difficulties, all sharing great aesthetic beauty and a marked alpine character. According to your interests and mountain conditions, we will choose together the route that better suits you. From the Gran Diagonal, to María José Aller or Maribel couloir, the Y, the Z, etc.
